In Memoriam: Paige Pace Allen

It is with extreme sadness that we share the news of the passing of Paige Pace Allen on May 19, 2024.

Paige was the pride and joy of Sweetwater Texas (home of the Rattlesnake Roundup: http://www.rattlesnakeroundup.net/ –she was First Runnerup Miss Rattlesnake Roundup in 1976). Sweetwater is also the hometown of NFL Hall of Famers and high school teammates Slinging Sammy Baugh and Bulldog Turner and it was where the Women Airforce Service Pilots (the WASP) operated out of in WWII. Paige was extremely proud of her Pace family and Sweetwater heritages.

Paige was memorialized in a beautiful service at St Stephens Episcopal Church in Sweetwater on May 25, where her ashes are interred next to her Mother’s ashes in the Church’s Columbarium.

There will be a Celebration of Her Life on Saturday June 1, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 at her house at 3401 Woodhaven Court; Farmers Branch, TX 75234. All friends of Paige are welcome.
