Bob Allen Elected as Secretary/Treasurer of the American College of Coverage Counsel

At the recent Annual Meeting of the American College of Coverage Counsel (ACCC) held in Chicago, and after serving two terms on its Board of Regents, the ACCC has elected Bob Allen as its Secretary/Treasurer for 2025-2026. Through its rules of progression, Bob will be the President-Elect in 2026-2027 and he will be the ACCC President in 2027-2028.

The ACCC, established in 2012, is the preeminent association of U.S., Canadian and Bermudian lawyers who represent the interests of insurers and policyholders. The ACCC’s mission is to advance the creative, ethical, and efficient adjudication of insurance coverage and extracontractual disputes; to enhance the civility and quality of the practice of insurance law; to provide peer-reviewed scholarship; and to improve the relationship between and among the members of our profession.

ACCC’s mission includes educating all sectors involved in insurance disputes — including the judiciary, legal and insurance professionals, and businesses — on critical topics such as best practices in policy formation and claims handling, developing trends in insurance law, and bad faith.

The ACCC is equally divided between policyholder counsel and insurer counsel. Membership is limited and by invitation only.
